ChIP SEQ Analysis

Protein–DNA interactions play key roles in determining gene-expression programs during various biological processes through a variety of molecular mechanisms by interplaying between multiple protein factors and specific genomic locations in a structurally ordered and time-dependent fashion, especially in eukaryotes. Chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (ChIP-seq) analysis can detect these protein/DNA-binding and histone-modification sites across an entire genome.

The potential applications of ChIP-Seq are the mapping of chromatin modifications,mapping of TF (Transcription Factor) binding sites, epigenetic profiling, motif discovery, nucleosome positioning, and prediction of TF regulatory networks in various conditions such as Cancer. For analysing such data, we have developed a comprehensive pipeline 'ChipRich' which deals with all pitfalls of conventional ChIP-seq analysis pipelines & gives the user statistically significant results with its proficient interpretation.
